# Protocol Overview

Wenwin is a **decentralized gaming protocol** that provides the infrastructure and funding for anyone to build and launch their own games.

By supporting game designers in launching successful onchain games, Wenwin's can scale up exponentially. Game Designers benefit from launching on Wenwin by being fully supported by the Wenwin team for initial prize pot funding and plug-and-play infrastructure. Game Designers recieve 10% of ticket revenue share in perpetuity. All tickets are sold in USDC.

### What makes a Wenwin game?

* **Chance-based game:** Wenwin hosts onchain chance-based games for players to have fun and potentially win big.
* **Verifiable:** All game results will be transparent and verifiable onchain. Wenwin games will use core verifiable infrastructure such as VRFs (Verifiable Random Functions) to produce results.
* **Market leading RTP (Return to player):** RTP indicates how much of the wagered money will be paid back to the player over time as they play Wenwin games. Wenwin games have robust RTP to sustain high interest and economic benefits for the Wenwin ecosystem.

The Sales proceeds of Wenwin games are distributed to the Game Designer, Frontend Operator, prize pot, and Wenwin Treasury. Profits are also used to fund the Buyback and Burn Program and the launch of new Wenwin games.
