The draw takes place every 6 hours.

During every draw, 5 numbers are randomly drawn from 35 non-repeating integer numbers ranging from 1 to 35.  You can buy a ticket to play.  Each ticket costs 0.1 MON, and allows you to pick 5 of 35 numbers.  You will win a Prize (plus a Bonus if available) if you match 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers.

A Jackpot Prize is won when **all 5 numbers on the ticket match all 5 winning numbers drawn** from the lottery. If there are multiple winners of the Jackpot in a single draw, the prizes will be evenly shared between the number of winning tickets. No other prizes are given for the round where a Jackpot is won.

The Jackpot (Match 5) Prize will be dynamically decided based on the [initial sales proceeds going into the Prize Pot](/ww-token/initial-sale):

# Random Number Generation

As blockchains cannot generate random numbers, the Wenwin smart contracts will use a third-party Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to generate the lottery's draw numbers. We aim to use two VRF providers. The secondary randomizer will be used as a fallback if the primary fails to provide random numbers.

To ensure the resiliency of the system in times when the randomness source is unavailable, the following mechanisms have been implemented:

1. Anyone can trigger a retry if a `randomness request` via the current source fails to be fulfilled within a predefined timeframe.
2. After a predefined number of failed retries, the deployer can swap the randomness source with a different one.

It's important to understand that the deployer **cannot** change the randomness source other than in the unlikely scenario in which the current oracle fails repeatedly, as per the specifications above. Additionally, the predefined timeframe and the number of allowed retry attempts are immutable and cannot be changed after the contracts have been deployed.

## Overview

To win a prize, a ticket must match a minimum of 3 numbers out of the 7 numbers drawn.  Depending on the number of numbers matched, the following prizes (plus [bonuses](/games/usdc-7-35-lottery/the-game/prizes/bonuses) when available) are given out:

## Jackpot Prize

A Jackpot Prize is won when **all 7 numbers on the ticket match all 7 winning numbers drawn** from the lottery. If there are multiple winners of the Jackpot in a single draw, the prizes will be evenly shared between the number of winning tickets. No other prizes are given for the round where a Jackpot is won.

The Jackpot (Match 7) Prize will be dynamically decided based on the [initial sales proceeds going into the Prize Pot](/ww-token/initial-sale):

## Non-Jackpot Prize

A Non-Jackpot Prize is won when numbers on the ticket match 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 winning numbers drawn from the lottery, except for when a Jackpot is won.&#x20;

Non-Jackpot Prizes are fixed as follows:

## Claiming Prizes

Winning tickets have a **one-year deadline from the draw time** to claim their prize by redeeming the winning NFT ticket.&#x20;

# Bonuses

As the Prize Pot of the Wenwin 7/35 Lottery increases, bonus amounts are automatically added to all prizes to make the lottery more enticing for players, all while maintaining the same ticket price.&#x20;

This is achieved by first determining the Excess Pot, which is calculated based on the protocol's Cumulative Net Profit, then discounting for a Safety Margin and subtracting the standard Jackpot Prize.

Frontend Operators can include websites, mobile apps, wallets, retailers, and more. These frontends can communicate with the Wenwin Lottery smart contracts, process ticket sales, and be rewarded for doing so.&#x20;

# Random Number Generation

As blockchains cannot generate random numbers, the Wenwin smart contracts will use a third-party Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to generate the lottery's draw numbers. We aim to use two VRF providers. The secondary randomizer will be used as a fallback if the primary fails to provide random numbers.

To ensure the resiliency of the system in times when the randomness source is unavailable, the following mechanisms have been implemented:

1. Anyone can trigger a retry if a `randomness request` via the current source fails to be fulfilled within a predefined timeframe.
2. After a predefined number of failed retries, the deployer can swap the randomness source with a different one.

It's important to understand that the deployer **cannot** change the randomness source other than in the unlikely scenario in which the current oracle fails repeatedly, as per the specifications above. Additionally, the predefined timeframe and the number of allowed retry attempts are immutable and cannot be changed after the contracts have been deployed.

# Wenwin 7/35 Lottery Points

Each Wenwin game benefits from the Wenwin Points Program. The Wenwin 7/35 Lottery rewards both Players and Referrals with Points in order to incentivize usage in the early stages.

## Player Rewards

Player rewards are allocated on a **per draw basis.**

Each Player receives:

* Base rewards of 2 Points for every ticket purchased for the Wenwin 7/35 Lottery.
* Base rewards get multiplied by 10,000 / number of tickets sold in the draw. If the number of tickets sold in a draw is lower than 10,000, the multiplier is higher than 1 and users get additional rewards on top of base rewards. If the number of tickets sold in a draw is higher than 10,000, a multiplier of 1 is applied and users get base rewards only

**Example**

Alice buys 10 tickets in a draw where 5,000 tickets are sold in total. She gets 20 points as base reward and such points get multiplied by 2 (10,000 / 5,000), resulting in 40 points in total.

The next draw, Alice buys 10 tickets but the total number of tickets sold is 20,000. She gets 20 points only as the multiplier applied is equal to 1 as the number of tickets sold is higher than 10,000.

## Rewards Allocation

Referrer rewards are allocated on a **per draw basis**.

Referrers can qualify for referrer rewards only if their referees purchase more than 100 tickets per draw. If this condition holds, referrers earn the same number of points as players do for every ticket purchased by their referrees.

**Example**

Bob refers Alice, who buys 50 tickets in a draw. Bob does not earn referrer rewards as Alice, his referee, has purchased less than 100 tickets in a single draw.

The next draw, Bob refers John, Peter, Mao, and Jodie who buy 150 tickets. Bob earns 300 points as base rewards plus any additional allocation from the multiplier (if any) as his referees have purchased more than 100 tickets in a single draw.

## Referral Codes

The Wenwin referral reward program is a key component of the Wenwin growth strategy.&#x20;

### **Creating a Referral Link**

Anybody can easily join the referral reward program by following the steps below:&#x20;

1. Go to Wenwin's (or another participating Frontend Operator's) referral page
2. Connect your Web3 wallet&#x20;
3. Enter your preferred referral code&#x20;
4. Click to confirm your referral code&#x20;
5. Sign the transaction in your Web3 wallet&#x20;
6. Copy the unique generated link displayed and share

After following the steps above, you will now have your unique referral code that you can share to benefit from the rewards detailed above.&#x20;

### **Using a Referral Link**

Wenwin rewards players for participating in the lottery. To benefit from these rewards is easy:&#x20;

1. Click on the referrers unique link&#x20;
2. Connect your Web3 wallet&#x20;
3. Select your lucky numbers
4. Purchase your tickets&#x20;

That's it! After each draw the referral rewards will be published and claimable via the Wenwin App.

# Initial Sale

In order to fund the [Initial Prize Pot](/games/usdc-7-35-lottery/the-game/prizes) of the Wenwin 7/35 Lottery, Wenwin will carry out an Initial Sale.

In exchange for providing the Initial Prize Pot (USDC), WW buyers will effectively **become owners of the Wenwin Protocol** and start value accrual from the revenues generated by Wenwin.

The Initial Sale will be carried out via a token LBP where WW will be sold for USDC.

LBPs are a two-sided AMM with dynamically change token weighting (e.g. 1/99 to 99/1 for USDC / WW). LBPs use Weighted Math with time-dependent weights. This means that the WW token price will gradually decline over the course of the LBP, allowing each potential WW buyer to acquire WW at their desired price.

The concept of buyback and burn refers to the practice of protocols buying back their tokens from the market and subsequently burning them. A buyback and burn program aims to reduce the total number of tokens in circulation and positively impacts tokenholders as the price of their tokens increases.

The buyback and burn program implemented by Wenwin is funded by a portion of the revenues generated through ticket sales. These proceeds are used to buy the token on the open market. The token purchases happen according to a specific TWAP (Time Weighted Average Price) strategy that spreads purchases across both CEXes and DEXes and over a certain period of time to smoothen out the price impact. Once the tokens are bought back, they are burned and removed from circulation.

The buyback and burn program aims to maintain the token price at the level set by the average price observed during the initial LBP. Tokenholders who participated to the LBP could then count on future revenues generated by the protocol to support their initial investment in the LBP.&#x20;
